WELSH TOURISM: AT LAST A POSITIVE WAY FORWARD: WELSH HERITAGE TOURISM FOR A NEW POST COLONIAL WALES by S.Ifan MBA Tourism Management.


A way forward towards a National Tourism Promotion both of an external tourism purpose promoting Wales World Wide but also an Internal Wales Tourism which is of much need to advantage of National unity and awareness. In all areas of tourism concerns the arguement and ideas set out in this paper would be of great of socio - economic advantage to the tourism businesses in our tourism area communities. If the Welsh Assembly Government, it's Minister of Heritage also Regional Tourism bodies cannot see sense of adopting a Wales Tourism Strategy based on arguement and ideas set out in this paper, then bodies as Visit Wales will not succeed as they really should and thus always face criticism year after year as they have already quite recently, see at end of this post.

If bodies as WAG and it's Ministry of Heritage and Visit Wales along with Cadw also regional Tourism bodies do ignore this important paper, then perhaps Nationalists should adopt the paper and establish their own National Heritage Tourism Initiative. Those interested in doing such should contact S.Ifans who may have similar follow up idea herself.
