WHAT WALES NEEDS IS A WELSH NATIONAL HERITAGE MONTH: MIS MEDI - MIS GLYNDWR - MIS HANES CYMRU Not Just Heritage Open Days.

..
This post and blog fully supports Embassy Glyndwr call for a Welsh History Month to be based on and around a Month of Owain Glyndwr Celebrations. At National and Regional level events could evolve out of themes of national history and local events be concerned with local history. This month is very much given over to a European Union Interfering prompted Heritage Open Days which in Wales is organised by the 'Empire Building' Civic Trust (ask them about H.E.G and supposed follow up).
.
To assist patriots in deliberation of this Embassy Glyndwr Initiative, I provide information below on the various Civic Trust UK Heritage Open Days events and activities. Further, see information on Welsh Gypsy/Roma Month and Black History Month both of which I fully support and advise patriots to really take a good look at latter information re BHM. Not least take much interest in Ireland's National Heritage Week, I think this is a good example for what I and Embassy Glyndwr suggest for Wales but you give it some thought.
.
One 'sour' observation on aforementioned Roma and Black History Month in Wales, I cannot help but be cynical but just look how Local Authourities and the Arts Wales Crowd fall over them selves to get involved. Of course they are getting grants 'Saxon Silver' and it's this which fuels their eagerness to be into such, yes? Can you see them being so eager re celebrating Owain Glyndwr or any radical presentation of Welsh History as Black History Month, not likly! unless of course it's safe sanitised 'Cymry Cymraeg Culture' of 'Yr Hen Iaith' kind, yes?

Welsh Identity Day: How many of you knew about that?
Not many I guess in main because it was no more than a
'Grab a Grant' idea from our wonderfull Welsh Intellectual
Establishment, so a lot of academics and such as teachers
benefited. Then when the money was all spent, on what?
This Welsh Identity Day no more was heard of any Welsh
Identity Day, so I suggest we revive, it being now needed
more than ever. However, which day do we make our Welsh
National Identity Day? No doubt 1st March will spring to mind
as first best option but Wales today is for the most part a
secular and multi - faith Society, so Dydd Dewi not quite the
thing, though no reason why it cannot be a Welsh National
Ciultural Day. As for National Welsh Identity Day, my choice would
be 21 Mehefin the day we celebrate Owain Glyndwr's establishing
a Welsh Parliament and his coronation. The day our nation's
'Sovereignty' was reclaimed. What asserts our National Identity
more than that but then you might have your own ideas! See below
      and then Discuss & Debate.
